**** VERY IMPORTANT NOT TO GET RIPPED OFF —
#1. Be sure you are buying pure Hoodia…look for the import certificate on the website. No matter the price, if they do not display this, you really do NOT know what you are getting!
#2. Be sure it is 100% Hoodia & not mixed w/other herbs, etc.!!
#3. Keep in mind it stops your hunger pangs…you MUST remember to break your habit to always eat at certain times.
#4. Drink a full 8oz. glass of water with it!
Hoodia (HOOD-ee-uh) gordonii – A genus of 10 to 20 species from southwestern Africa.
Hoodia gordonii is the stoneage wonder plant found throughout the dry arid regions of the South western African continent now on the verge of making history in the fight against obesity. It is a genus belonging to the Asclepiadaceae family which consists of approximately 20 species. Used to stop hunger, quench thirst, and provide energy among other things since prehistoric times, Hoodia gordonii was first discovered by the San tribesmen and women to get through the most difficult of times.

Hoodia Weight Loss Support Extract 2 fl oz: HH $48.06 This combinastion tincture provides support for the nervous system, nutrition, and energy for weight loss. Hoodia Gordonii looks like a cactus, but is actually a milkweed-like plant that grows in Botswana and the Kalahari Desert in Southwestern Africa. It was just introduced to the US market in early 2004. The story goes that the San people in the Kalahari used to munch on Hoodia to curb the hunger pangs that would strike during times of drought. The active ingredient, P57, was not discovered by accident. In 1996 the South African statutory council known as CSIR (Council for Scientific and Industrial Research) was doing research on the food of the local "Bushmen" or San ate. The CSIR was amazed when they analysed Hoodia gordonii, the animals they where testing it on did not die or have any side effect except weightloss. It was concluded that the Hoodia gordonii succulent was non-toxic and a natural appetite suppresant. By 1997 the CSIR had isolated the bioactive compound in Hoodia that had the appetite suppressing properties. They obtained a patent and licensed P57, named P57 because it was the 57th product the CSIR had spent funds on, to Phytopharm. In one of Phytofarm’s experiments, subjects given hoodia consumed 1,000 calories a day less that those in the control group. Hoodia Gordoni was featured on 60 minutes. Leslie Stahl actually went to Africa to try it. So how did it work? Stahl says she had no after effects – no funny taste in her mouth, no queasy stomach, and no racing heart. She also wasn’t hungry all day, even when she would normally have a pang around mealtime. And, she also had no desire to eat or drink the entire day. "I’d have to say it did work," Stahl said. Hoodia Gordonii has been used by the South African San tribe for thousands of years. The San used this plant when they went hunting. Hoodia helped to prolong hunting trips by suppressing hunger, increasing energy levels and even improving libido! It is believed that Hoodia sends signals to the brain that make the brain believe that the body is full, even when it is not. These signals are believed to be thousands of times stronger than the signals that sugar sends to the brain for the same reason. This makes Hoodia a very powerful appetite suppressant, and a very effective weight loss product. For this reason it is included in many over-the-counter dietary weight loss supplements. Key results of hoodia reported include a reduced interest in food, delay in the time after eating before hunger sets in again, feeling full more quickly, and a general feeling of well-being Hoodia gordonii is not a stimulant, and has no known side effects. Hoodia appears to be safe for most people. |

Hoodia Gordonii $44.51 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Hoodia gordonii is a leafless spiny succulent plant with medicinal uses. It grows naturally in South Africa and Namibia. The flowers smell like rotten meat and are pollinated mainly by flies. The indigenous Bushmen call this plant hoba. Hoodia gordonii was discovered and painted by col. Robert Jacob Gordon in the vicinity of the Orange River in about 1779, and identified as a Stapelia, a closely related genus. The use of Hoodia spp. has long been known by the indigenous populations of Southern Africa, who infrequently use these plants for treating indigestion and small infections. However, it is their centuries old use of the meat of the plant to suppress appetite when making long hunting trips in the Kalahari Desert that has stimulated the most interest. |

Hoodia Gordonii (Hoodia gordonii) Powder, 5 kg (11 lbs): RF $1397.25 Hoodia gordonii is a South African succulent that has been used as a natural appetite suppressant and believed to curb the desire to eat. Moreover, it is also said to increase energy and encourage thermogenesis – the burning of fat! We eat too much, and perhaps more importantly, we eat incorrectly these days, and Hoodia may be a powerful weapon in the war against those unhealthy habits. More energy, less food and the ability to burn fat! – Sounds like one recipe we can all use for a better looking body and an overall feeling of fitness and good health. History: Hoodia is a succulent plant that is native to the Kalahari Desert, a large, arid, sandy area covering much of South Africa, Botswana and Namibia. Although there are three different species of the genus, Hoodia, the species gordonii is considered the only one that is effective and official as a natural appetite suppressant without any harmful side effects. Colonel R. F. Gordon first discovered Hoodia in December, 1778, and the plant’s botanical specific, gordonii, was bestowed in his honor. The genus, Hoodia, was given in honor of the keen succulent grower, Van Hood. In the early stages of growth, the leafless plant produces only one fleshy, ribbed, thorny stem, but later it branches with as many as fifty heavy boughs, bearing flowers that emit the unpleasant carrion-like odor of decaying flesh, which attracts the many flies that are needed for the plant’s pollination. The flowers vary in color from beige to deep crimson and bloom in August or September. Hoodia resembles a cactus, but it is clearly a succulent that can reach a height of about five feet, normally exposed to extreme heat, but also surviving in relatively low temperatures in a wide variety of habitats, including the deep Kalahari sands, on dry, stony slopes or flats and under the protection of xerophytic bushes. The Bushmen (called the San or Khoi San tribe) of the Kalahari have been traditionally chewing Hoodia for many centuries to combat hunger and suppress the appetite and thirst when setting off on extended hunting expeditions and long journeys. It was also eaten during times of hardship when food was not plentiful, in order to decrease the appetite (the Anikhwe of northern Botswana were said to feed pieces of Hoodia to the children who ”eat too much” to make them eat less). Moreover, in addition to their use of Hoodia as an appetite suppressant and thirst quencher, the San people also employed the use of this succulent plant in their traditional medicine as a treatment for abdominal cramps, hemorrhoids, tuberculosis, indigestion, hypertension and diabetes. In 1996, there was a scientific study in South Africa that conducted research into the diets of the Bushmen, and when Hoodia’s properties were scrutinized, the investigators discovered that when fed to animals, they lost weight, and it was also non-toxic. The fleshy part of the stem is dried and made into a powder for use in herbal supplemen |

Advanced Hoodia Patch-CR 30 patches $22.94 Amazing Hoodia Gordonii CactusAuthentic hoodia is one of the rarest botanicals in the world. It is a cactus like plant that grows exclusively in South Africa. Scientists have isolated several componds in hoodia that help suppress appetite. The chemical constituents in hoodia work within the satiety center by releasing a chemical compound similar to glucose, but is up to 100,000 more powerful. The hypothalamus receives this signal as an indication that enough food has been consumed and this in turn stunts the appetite. It basically tricks the brain into thinking that you are full. To date, there are no known adverse side effects caused by the use of hoodia. |

Hoodia 2000 Time Release 60 tabs $29.99 Timed Released South African Hooda Gordonii. 1,000 mg. per tablet! What is Hoodia? Hoodia Gordonii is a leafless, spiky succulent. It grows naturally in the Northern Cape, a province of South Africa, where it is registered as a protected species by Nature Conservation. Hoodia Gordonii is famous for its effects as an appetite suppressant. EXCELLENT results have been obtained from people using it as part of a weight loss program, leading to many international companies making and selling Hoodia as a ‘new miracle diet pill’.Why Should I take a Sustained Released Hoodia (like Hoodia 2000 TR)? The best way to explain how Sustained Released works is to compare it to peeling an onion. Instead of the entire amount of Hoodia dissolving at the same time, with a Sustained Released tablet it is dissolved in multiple layers throughout a period of up to eight hours. What that means to you is that unlike the other Hoodia products that work for just three hours, the Hoodia 2000TR works all day long to subdue your appetite! To help cut out after dinner snacking and late night binges, take a second tablet mid-afternoon. |

Powder can be consumed by sprinkling it over your food or mixing it with a syrup such as maple or chocolate. You could also mix it with orange juice. The citric acid in the orange juice will help to mask any unpleasant powder tastes. Hoodia gordonii is a South African succulent that has been used as a natural appetite suppressant and believed to curb the desire to eat. Hoodia Gordonii 400 mg 60 VCaps $12.68 Hoodia Gordonii has been used for generations by South African tribesmen to starve off hunger and thirst during long hunting expeditions. Hoodia is difficult to grow and requires just the right amount of water, sun light, and temperature. It takes five years for Hoodia to grow to full maturity. South African scientists have been testing Hoodia since 1996 when they discovered the plant (Hoodia Gordonii) contained a previously unknown molecule that replicates the effect glucose has on nerve cells in the brain fooling the body into thinking it is full, even when it is not. Hoodia?s appetite suppressing molecule is said to be almost 10,000 times stronger than glucose. A U.S. pharmaceutical company spent over 400 million dollars researching this molecule. To test the Hoodia, morbidly obese people from Leicester, England, were kept in a place as close to prison as it gets. All the volunteers could do was read papers and watch television and eat. Half the group was given Hoodia Gordonii and half was given a placebo. At the end of 15 days, the group on Hoodia had reduced their food intake by 1000 calories a day. Given the average daily diet is around 2200 calories, this was a remarkable success! Another clinical study performed in 18 overweight but healthy males provided statistical evidence that the Hoodia Gordonii extract reduced the average daily calorie intake and reduced body-fat over the 2 week clinical trial period. In addition to eliminating hunger and suppressing the appetite Hoodia also seems to boost energy levels and counteract depression, some folks even report aphrodisiac-like qualities. The efficacy of Hoodia Gordonii has been established with a profound weight loss and a good emergent safety profile. |

FucoXanthin Formula 1332 90 caps $32.14 Thermogenic Formula without the “jitters”!Promotes & Supports Healthy Metabolic Rate & Breakdown of Fat!Contains FucoXanthin Extract from Brown Seaweed and Pomegranate! Also Contains Hoodia and Green Tea Extract! What are the key ingredients in the The Original FucoXanthin Formula 1332?The Original FucoXanthin Formula 1332 is the ideal weight management formula. It contains four fantastic ingredients – all designed to help with weight management while also being health otherwise. The four key ingredients are: Concentrated Brown Sea Weed/FucoXanthin, Pomegranate, Green Tea and Hoodia. FucoXanthin FucoXanthin is a marine algae-derived ingredient, believed by experts to be “thermogenic”. A thermogenic may assist in supporting a healthy metabolic rate. This again may promote the healthy break-down of fat. What is fantastic about FucoXanthin, is that does not cause any “jitters” like other known thermogenic herbs. Pomegranate Pomegranate is an amazing Anti-Oxidant that experts and scientists promote to people all over the world. It was chosen by our research team as a key ingredient for The Original FucoXanthin Formula 1332 not only for its Anti-Oxidant properties, but also because it helps FucoXanthin work better. Pomegranate contains CLA, which is an incredible fatty acid combination. Hoodia Hoodia Gordonii is a well known appetite suppressant. Recent research has shown that the Hoodia Gordonii species contains a molecule that is similar to glucose, only MUCH stronger. The scientists believe that this molecule in Hoodia ‘fools’ the body into believing that it has just eaten. The result of eating Hoodia is thus a complete lack of appetite. Because of this property, Western countries have claimed that Hoodia is the “new miracle diet ingredient”. |

Cha De Bugre Leaf (Cordia salicifolia) Powdered Extract 10:1, 100 kg (220 lbs): RF $7621.7 Cha de Bugre is a small tree that grows twelve to sixteen inches. It is indigenous to Brazil, and is found mostly in the Brazilian States of Goais, Acre and Bahia. Brazilians often call Cha de Bugre, Café de Mato, as it produces a real fruit similar to a coffee bean that can be roasted and used as a coffee substitute. In Brazil, Cha de Bugre is drunk as a coffee or as a tea. It is said to have both weight loss and appetite reducing effects. In the ingredient listings of many weight loss products, you will often see Cha de Bugre listed as an ingredient, paired with Hoodia Gordonii. Manufacturers of weight loss products will often include Cha de Bugre and Hoodia Gordonii together, as they claim that the Cha de Bugre increases the potency of the Hoodia Gordonii. There are a number of testimonials online written by people who have used products containing Cha de Bugre. These testimonials are mixed, and it seems that a number of people have found the product helpful, whilst others have complained of side effects such as dry mouth, anxiety and insomnia. Dr. C.L. Cruz in his book, Dictionary of the Plants Used in Brazil, recommends chá de bugre as an excellent diuretic and weight loss aid as well as a good general heart tonic which can help stimulate circulation. It is also used in Brazil and Haiti as a tea to help relieve coughs, regulate renal function, reduce uric acid and externally to heal wounds. Cha de Bugre is known to contain caffeine, potassium, allantoin and allantoic acid. The red fruits or berries of cha de bugre (resembling a coffee bean) contain caffeine. The allantoin and allantoic acid may explain the traditional use of the plant for wound healing. The main plant chemicals include allantoin, allantoic acid, caffeine, potassium. In 1990 however, a Japanese University discovered some new uses for cha de bugre. They showed that Cha de Bugre leaf extract reduced herpes virus penetration by 99% when they pre-treated cells with the extract. In 1994, they showed that the Herpes virus yield was reduced by 33% with as little as 0.25 mcg/ml and also discovered that it had toxic activity against cancer cells (demonstrating a 40% inhibition) utilizing an extract of the branches and leaves. Then in 1997, research with rabbits and guinea pigs validated the traditional use of the plant as a heart tonic when they reported cardiotonic and increased cardiovascular actions using a leaf extract. Cha de Bugre is a great appetite suppressant, but rather than stopping appetite completely (then causing intense hunger when it wears off at the wrong time) it gives one a sense of being full and satiated after eating only a few bites of food. This seems to promote much smaller meals, more often, which is what many practitioners believe is better for sustained weight loss and keeping the metabolism going throughout the day. It works best if taken 30 minutes to one hour prior to a meal. Although a fair number of people have experien |

Cha De Bugre Leaf (Cordia salicifolia) Powdered Extract 4:1, 10 kg (22 lbs): RF $635.04 Cha de Bugre is a small tree that grows twelve to sixteen inches.
